This was such a pleasant surprise because we had visited this location more than a year ago and had a totally different experience. It had delicious food, nice staff, great views a limited but adequate menu and good service. We will definitely go back. It's a bit on the pricey side, I'd say that inside it could use some antique, soft lightbulbs to tone down the bright light in the evening with the dark sky.

Fantastic experience at The Lakehouse! Definitely surpassed expectations. Came in for my mom’s birthday. Great view, our server Ethan was so nice, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations too. We brought a bottle of wine and the corkage fee was $20. Calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had. Burrata place was fantastic (definitely add the prosciutto!), my kids had the kid steak, kids chicken, and kids Mac and cheese and they loved it all. 100% recommend and look forward to coming back!

We’ve been at the Lakehouse for lunch & just for a late afternoon dessert. The selections are amazing & good to the last bite. The views of the lake & mountains are spectacular. Watching the activity on the lake is a bonus. Everything from flying kites, fishing or just watching the sailboats enjoy the late afternoon breezes.

We had my daughter’s ring ceremony and reception here last week. It is such a beautiful place! You cannot beat the view! The service was incredible! We had the best day! So grateful for the Lakehouse!

Visiting the SLC area and taking an unplanned scenic drive on Sunday. Stopped in at the Deer Creek Park on 189 and decided to check out The Lakehouse at Deer Creek. Great stop and what a view. Do yourself a favor and stop in. We had a drink and an off-menu item of carrots and squash (with sweet chili sauce) The menu looks incredible and the dinner menu selections are excellent. We will be back on another trip. Also - FYI - they host special events, menu and drink planning.

The Lakehouse is a stunning venue inside and out! It has some of the most beautiful and serene views in the state of Utah. Don’t miss the opportunity to book them for your dream wedding or stylish event. The owners, management, and staff are fantastic people. They make it so easy to feel comfortable and at ease. I had always driven past this place many times and have always wanted to try it. I love how it’s literally on the lake. We made a reservation and requested to sit outside with a lake view. The view is so pretty. We ordered the duck fat fry bread scones for our appetizer. They were good but nothing amazing. I would probably order a different appetizer next time. Once we finished our appetizer, it started to rain really hard. So sadly we got moved inside. My husband and I both ordered the flat iron steak and it was served over veggies and potatoes and in a au jus. The steak was so tender. We loved our meal and would love to come back.

This is one of the most romantic date night spots in Utah! The Lakehouse has the most incredible, stunnning views everywhere in and out of the restaurant. We are dying to go back when the outdoor patio is open. The wonton nachos and duck fat fry bread were incredible appetizers, the apple butter on the fry bread is so tasty and I love that the nachos have Gruyere cheese (my favorite cheese). For entrees we got the filet mignon and the braised short rib fettuccine, the fettuccine was our favorite! Also definitely order the mashed potatoes as a side, some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced for the portions and flavor, entrees start at 25! For dessert we got the pizookie and it was yummy. This was an amazing anniversary dinner with my husband and we are definitely coming back. Try to come at sunset!

the 3 of us had different dishes. All 3 were delicious. my wife had the Cashew Halibut, it was cooked perfectly and served hot. My daughter had the Ranchera Chicken, one of their Gluten free dishes, She finished her meal, where normally she might only eat half her meal. I had the pork medallions, it had exceptional flavor and was served hot, absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We visited the Lakehouse on a Friday night and it was quiet. I couldn’t understand it. Amazing location on the lake, sunset over the mountains. We were the only people on the deck. Saw an osprey mating ritual right above our head. Food good. Service better. All in all, if in the area, the setting demands that you check out the Lakehouse.

Location, location! Unique in Heber Valley as you have a water view, especially at sunset. Also nice to walk on the docks before or after dinner. Food and service were great, prices are fine given the location, season, and quality. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

My husband & I had a lovely dinner tonight, on the deck overlooking the water and mountains. Miquel was our waiter, and he was professional, friendly and efficient. What a nice young man! The last time I was at the Lakehouse, Raoul helped my table and he was fantastic! Friendly and so helpful! Our food was fresh and delicious, cocktails were amazing! What a sweet place!!

Great ambiance! The one-of-a-kind fireplace was my favorite. Staff was very attentive. We had mocktails which were the best I have had anywhere, so many different flavors to think about, some were even invented on the spot for us. For Dinner, I had the cannelloni, which was OK, but I also sampled everyone's plate at the table and theirs were all amazing, mine was the only one I didn't absolutely love. I think adding on some sausage would have made it go from ok to great. This bison burger was superb. The different nuances of flavor were excellent. The marrow mashed potatoes were so rich and delicious, I am going to try to recreate those at home. The duck fat scones were heavenly. The kids' menus were really great - a generous plate of fancy chicken bites, tater tots, mini corn dogs or a mini burger (we had enough children there, we tried every kid's option), all perfect size for kids to pick up and eat easily without making a huge mess and there was enough for the adults to snack on as well. The ribeye steak was absolutely delicious, with the dish having the nuance of flavor and texture I realize is to be expected with every Lake house dish. Same excellence with the wedge salad. We had a skillet cookie for dessert which was scrumptious. We will certainly be back! I understand the menu will be switching out one item each month, I am excited to try the new things in times to come!

This is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel that you are on a special vacation!! The outdoor setting is right by a lake, with mountain views. The servers are very attentive & of course, the FOOD!! There are many different selections to choose from & the menu does change. As an appetizer, the frybread scones are a MUST! If there are more than 2 of you, 2 orders of this is a must!! The dinner pies were incredible, filled with Wagyu beef, potatoes, squash & other vegetables & it was savory & also had a crusty top. A very filling dish. They serve wines & cocktails as well.

Simply a fabulous dining experience: Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, delicious and unique food. The prices are reasonable, considering the generous portions. The frybread scones were a wonderful way to start the meal, and "Mother's Chichana" was fantastic. Save room for dessert, because the homemade pie is outstanding! This was our first time at this restaurant, but it won't be our last!

Our server Gracie knew every single item that could be made gluten free. She knew all about cross contamination and told me exactly which items were the safest. About 90% of their menu can be made gf! Don’t order anything that is put in the fryer. I got the cashew crusted halibut and it was sooo yummy. Would definitely recommend.
